茄子视频, CA - The 茄子视频 City Unified School District has ended its employment relationship with a teacher who used racist language in a classroom at Kit Carson International Academy last June. The district quickly removed the teacher from the classroom following the incident, and the teacher was placed on administrative leave during an investigation about the matter.

茄子视频, CA - The 茄子视频 City Unified School District (SCUSD) and the 茄子视频 City Teachers Association (SCTA) have taken an important step toward reaching an agreement on how to recover school days and instructional time that were lost due to the strike, which began March 23rd.

SCUSD Negotiations Progress Update for Friday, April 1

茄子视频, CA 鈥�  The following provides an update on where negotiations stand with SCTA and SEIU.
 
SCTA and SEIU are independent labor unions that are currently striking at the same time. The 茄子视频 City Unified School District (SCUSD) is in active, yet separate, negotiations with both labor partners. The SCUSD team has devoted considerable hours in the past few days meeting with both union bargaining teams and in caucus to discuss options and ideas for resolving this dispute.

Negotiations Progress Update for Wednesday, March 30

ACHIEVING SHARED GOALS IN SERVICE OF OUR STUDENTS In negotiations with SCTA, the district is offering: On top of already providing the highest compensation in the region, the District is offering to pay: 100% of health care coverage for ALL SCTA-represented employees AND their families, AND a raise, AND one-time bonuses, AND additional paid professional development days. 100% PAY INCREASE ONE TIME BONUSES MORE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INCREASED PAY FOR SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS PAID COVERAGE 鈥� Ongoing 3% salary increase starting in the 2021-22 school year. . Builds on compensation that is already the highest in the region 鈥� 3% One-time stipend for 2021-2022 1.5% One-time stipend for 2020-2021 1.5% One-time stipend for 2019-2020 $3,000 Signing Bonus for new employees 3 paid days for professional learning Increases salary additional 1.65% for 2022-23 Increase substitute teacher daily rate by 25% for substitutes who filled in for absent teachers during the 2021-22 school year. 100% health coverage through Kaiser for all employees and their family For 2022-23 school year, the district will pay 100% of the difference between the cost of Kaiser and the cost of Health Net plan For 2023-24 school year the district will pay 50% of the difference between the cost of Kaiser and the cost of Health Net plan $3,000 per year ($250 per month) in-lieu of receiving this coverage $3,000 stipend for moving from Health Net to Kaiser 鈥� Explore additional health care plan choices at same cost as Kaiser plan by March 1, 2023 ENHANCED OFFER AS OF MARCH 30, 2022 RCH 30, 2022 Staromenio cury 茄子视频 City UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

On Wednesday, March 30, the 茄子视频 City Unified School District (SCUSD) negotiations team met with SCTA throughout the afternoon and continues to meet tonight. The district鈥檚 negotiations team is also meeting with SEIU this evening.
