ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ, CA - ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ City Unified will shift from requiring masking to strongly recommending masking, starting Monday, April 18. This shift in policy follows the that ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ County maintained a low transmission level of COVID-19 for four consecutive weeks.

ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ, CA - The ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ City Unified School District Board of Education tonight approved contract agreements that were recently negotiated with SCTA and SEIU.  Our focus has now turned on recovering learning time that was lost due to the recent strike, which our students and families deserve.

ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ, CA - The ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ City Unified School District (SCUSD) and the ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ City Teachers Association (SCTA) have taken an important step toward reaching an agreement on how to recover school days and instructional time that were lost due to the strike, which began March 23rd.

ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ, CA â€“ The ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ City Unified School District (SCUSD) has reached agreements with SCTA and with SEIU Local 1021 that end the strike. The agreement with SEIU and SCTA were reached following negotiations sessions throughout the weekend.

ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ, CA â€“  The following provides an update on where negotiations stand with SCTA and SEIU.
 
SCTA and SEIU are independent labor unions that are currently striking at the same time. The ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ City Unified School District (SCUSD) is in active, yet separate, negotiations with both labor partners. The SCUSD team has devoted considerable hours in the past few days meeting with both union bargaining teams and in caucus to discuss options and ideas for resolving this dispute.
